What is a Cottage Bakery?
A cottage bakery is a small, home-based bakery that operates under cottage food laws, allowing entrepreneurs to prepare and sell certain types of foods made in their personal kitchens. At Say It Ain’t Dough, this means all of our baked goods are lovingly made in a home kitchen—never mass-produced—so you get fresh, handcrafted items every time. We follow all local regulations to ensure our products are safe, delicious, and made with care. Supporting a cottage bakery means supporting local, small-batch baking with a personal touch!
Our bakery makes products with gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, egg, and other allergens. While we make every effort to avoid cross contamination, please be advised that cross contamination is always a risk.
How and when will I get my order?
All items are baked fresh after you place your order to help ensure your items are fresh for your enjoyment. Orders must be placed by 6pm each Tuesday for same week pick up / delivery on Friday. If orders are placed after 6pm on Tuesday your order will be available for pick up / delivery the following week on Friday.

Local delivery
When placing your order, you can choose local delivery if you are within a 10-mile radius of us. After you place your order, we will reach out via text message to confirm your order was received as well as your delivery date. At checkout you will have the ability to leave delivery instructions, such as gate codes or requests to leave the order at the door/hand the order to you.
Porch Pickup
You can choose to pick up your order free of charge, once your order is placed, we will reach out via text message to confirm your order was received as well as your pickup date / time. During checkout you will have the ability to leave any notes regarding your order that you would like us to know.
Shipping
If you choose to ship your items, shipping will take place 3-5 days after your order has been placed Tracking information will be sent once your order has shipped.

How do I store my items?
Items can be kept in their packaging, stored on the counter, and consumed within 5-7 days. If you wish to freeze your items, place in a freezer bag and enjoy within 60-90 days. Visit our Care Instructions page for more information on how to store and enjoy your items!
Refunds & Returns
Due to the nature of our items, we do not accept returns. If you would like a refund, you must reach out prior to order cut off time, once we start making your order, all sales are final.
